chapter 7: megs pov

"i am sooo picking out your out fit!" i told april as her cheeks got redder and redder by the minuete. she looked so happy, my plan was beginning to work! 
"could you do my hair and make up too?" she asked, "lets go home right now and get started! manis and pedis before lunch, out fit hair and make after lunch."
"perfect. lets go to the mall!?" i smiled i needed a cute outfit to wear too. 
"sure!" she smiled super big. we got to the mall and april got a super cute outfit, a light blue tank with silver beading at the top that really made her eyes pop and a dark wash pair of shorty shorts. i told her to pair it with a pair of converses and a school boy fitted blazer. it would be perfect! the tank really made her contacts pop and the rest really brought out her dyed hair. i dont think that she could pull it off if she still had blonde hair... and lost the contacts. i chose a yellow tee and navy blue shorts. i had a cute pink beaded necklace that i was going to pair with the white vans my mom got me for my birthday. it looked amazing with my bright red hair and green eyes. i loved color. when we got back to aprils place we painted our toe nails and finger nails. april painted hers dark brown, and i painted my hot pink. we grab a small lunch since we had just had fro yo a few hours ago. i started with aprils hair, i did soft waves. it looked super pretty on her. i curled mine while she got dressed. i did a smoky eye on her eyelids and a little mascara. she put on a pale lip gloss. she looked stunning, i just couldn't wait to see matts expression. by the time we were both ready it was 7:30. but when matt rang the door bell with holden, aprils face went completly pale. 

so cute :) awhhhh a date... i tried to be as descriptive as possible with the out fits.....  :) how did you like it :)

chapter 6: aprils pov

when matt walked into the froyo store i felt my heart flutter and my cheeks get hot. meg punched me and i giggled. it was so crazy, i didnt know if it was just me or that he could be james twin brother. i gave him a soft smile and played with my hair, twirling it as i paid for the peanut butter fro yo, with strawberrys, blue berries and white chocolate chips. it was a healthy portion and i ended up paying about $6.
we found a cozy corner, and took a seat. it was pretty quiet and awkward for the first bit of our snack till holden offered that we go to the park later that night for a free concert that he heard about from his cousin, kyle. i flinched at the name because it was so close to my real name kylie... matt did too, but i dont know why. meg saw it, and patted my back, "ya that sounds like alot of fun... who is playing?"
"some local teen band, my cousin is good friends with the guitarist and the lead singer, he said i should come and bring a few friends."
"i think we should go... that seems like alot of fun, ive never been to a concert in dustin." i said.
"okay well then its settled, what time should we meet?" matt asked holden.
"how about we grab supper before, because the concerts at 8 tonight. wanna meet up at pizza inn?"
"sounds good." i agreed. after we finalized the plans we gathered up our froyo trash. as i was about to get into the car with meg, we usually carpooled, matt stopped me.
"hey, so i was thinking... um, would you wanna be my date to the concert... cuz i mean holden and meg are already together and it was just be us too awkwardly there and i thought we could go-" he asked. my head began to spin and i cut him off. "sure..." i said casually, "pick me up at 7:30?" and i slid into the passenger seat of megs car, my heart beating so fast i thought i was having a heart attack.
"he asked you out?!" 
"mhm!" i nodded, blushing like crazy.... maybe i could find a way to put james out of my mind.... its not like i was ever going to see him again. 
    
sorry i havnt written but with witty being down yesterday... i didnt have time too. the format isnt working either. soo ya know.

chapter 5: matts pov

i sat on my bed in boxers and a tee looking down at the floor. i was tired from playing basketball from holden, meg, and april. i never thought that i would here myself say this but i think that i was falling in love again... just like with kylie. but april was different, she was not as shy, but had built up a wall that i thought that i would never get down. i felt guilty for thinking about this, but its not like i would ever see kylie again. she told me to my face that she never wanted to see me again, she probably thinks im dead... well james is dead, im matt, not a jerk not a player... would never heart a girls heart. 
i fell backwards on my back and stared at the cieling. i pulled out my phone because i had gotten a text from holden.
holden: had fun tonight. wbu? 
me: ya. wanna get meg to let april hang out with us somemore.
holden: hm? whats this about.
me: idk. yet.
holden: you think u ready to date again?
me: idk... yet

i sat my phone on the counter and switched on the tv. baseball world series was on, so i watched for a bit till i realized i had dozed off. when i woke up the next morning i jumped in the shower ran my fingers through my hair to shake out the water and through on basketball shorts and a tee. meg had invited holden and i to go get some fro yo at the local fro yo place... tutti frutti. while driving i realized i caught my self only thinking one thing... whether or not april was going to be there. this was different i used to catch myself hoping that kylie would be at every place i was, waiting to hug me and tell me she loved me.... had i really moved on?

thanks to the 3 readers i think i have im gonna finish... its just i think i get my hopes up that im a more popular writer than i think i am... o well :l ill just write cuz i enjoy it... r readers or not. <3 thanks for all the comments by the way.... and i got a formspring so ask me questions. :)

isnt getting much attention so im thinking about starting a new story... but i have no clue what im thinking about writing... any ideas... or prove me wrong about no followers... its just that its already explained itself in the first 4 chapters....

chapter 4: megs pov

i knew that i had to tell holden about april being kylie, but i knew that she would be super angry. but i need his help to help me get her and matt together... she would love him! little did she know that james never did die... he just died to his old self... he decided he was going to be a new person. its crazy because his whole look changed... did you know its possible for your hair to grow back a different color after you loose it all! and jame's hair did, i kinda liked it better this way anyway.
i looked over at april who was fidgiting with her hair and watching holden and matt play ball. they were both really good and were the most popular choice for team captains in basketball. i personally thought that holden was better, but that may be because he is my boyfriend, so im obligated to think that. i started to think of double dates that we could go on with matt and april... or plotted how i could get them together. maybe we could see a movie... i could get holden in on getting them together with out telling him about april. 
i really did like her new look, it was going to take some getting used to, but it looked great on her. and her outfit was to die for, a flowly tank and jean short and flip flops, she had her hair tucked back behind her ear and held in place with a bobby pin. and she had also picked up a fondness for pearls, she had big pearl earings in her ears. 
she got up and walked over to the guys and took the ball from matt and shot the ball. swish... perfect shot, the guys went crazy and she joined the game, so i decided to join in the fun. maybe i wasn't going to have to do anything to get them together.... maybe fate would lend a hand.

chapter 2: matts pov

when i heard meg run out the back door i looked over at holden who was engrossed in his music. while he finished his air drum solo i walked over and grabbed a soda and sat back down. i popped the lid off and threw it at holden. he pulled one earphone out and looked over at me.
"what was that for?"
"where'd meg go?" i asked. he looked over and noticed she was gone.
"eh... idk... shes sure to return soon... im sure."
i took another big swig of coke.
"wanna play some ball?" i asked as i stood up and walked to megs garage and grabbed a basketball.
"sure... but be warned...your gonna loose." i got ball first, i dribbled past holden with ease and went up for the shot. 2 points! holden got the ball. he crossed it under his legs and went for the dunk. i didnt dodge the ball or holden while he was in air and got knocked over. 
"dude, you alright?" 
"ya..." he helped me up and i held my head, "whose the girl with meg?" she was pretty dark brown hair, skinny with a figure, tall and somewhat fimilar. i waved and holden did the same. the new girls face became fear ful and shy. she turned back around to walk back, but meg pushed her forwards till they met up with with us.
"hey guys... meet april." meg smiled as if she were a kid who had just found a long lost puppy or toy, "she's an old friend of mine." 
holden and i extended our hands for handshake. "holden and matt." meg said to april with a small smirk, while she introduced us. April was a beauty... long dark chocolate hair and icy cold blue eyes played well with her lighter complextion. she had rosy cheeks and lips that seemed perfectly glossed, and accross her nose were a few freckles that seemed sprinkled on. she reminded me of a porcelain doll that i was afraid to touch because of a fear that she might shatter. she grabbed my hand and gently smiled showing off her perfectly straight and white teeth, "pleased to meet you."

i had a little too much fun describing april/kylie... do you care if i just call her april in the pov's and commentary? could you picture her well? i plan on doing this on all the characters hopefully.... so tell me if i should describe more so you have a better picture or not :)

chapter 1: megs pov

i sat on the swing porch and rocked back and forth as the wind pushed me along. holden sat in a rocking chair and was humming along to his ipod. matt sat in the corner of the barricade of my front porch reading huckleberry finn. summer let out just 2 days ago and we were already bored. i walked inside and poured myself a glass of lemondae. i heard my mom and dad talking in the living room with another couple so i walked in to see who it was.
"megan... you remember the faiths? they were our neighbor 3 years ago... they had a daughter..." thats all i needed to hear. i ran out the door and ran to the house i had so many good times in. i loved holden and matt, like brothers, but i really needed a girlfriend at times. i busted through the back door.
"kylie!" i called through the house. it seemed to echo through the kitchen. i got no response. i walked into the living room, "kylie faith?" i said a little louder. still no response. "KYLIE APRIL FAITH!" i yelled. 
"shhhh...." came from her old bedroom. i peeped my head around the corner and saw a dark haired girl sitting on kylies bed.... wait... kylie? i stepped in and put my hands on my hips. she looked up... "its just april now." she said with a smile. she ran up to me and gave me a hug.
"man! ive missed having you around when hanging out with holden and... you have to meet matt! you'll love him! what did you do with your hair? how long are you back?" the questions kept coming, i had so many questions to ask her.
"megg.... i dont want anything to do with my past... ive already had to face who i always met at the front door... he's gone." 
"uhm... yea..." i mumbled under my breath. no one told her?! well... she will find out soon enough.
"so why the dark hair?" i asked.
"didnt want to be recognized. and im staying here permanetly."
"this is gonna be a great summer. want me to help you unpack?" 
"sure?" she responded. later that evening i was going to convince her to meet matt, and see holden... she had to face her past sometime.... 

and it would be something she wouldnt forget... for the better :)

what does megan know that kylie/april doesnt? if you know... comment... shouldnt be to hard my sister guessed after she read the first chapter so i know you can (well if you read book 1) otherwise take a wild guess! comments make me happy :D soooo much more than faves... but i like those too!!!

i sat on our front porch watching my dad pack the moving boxes into the van, but this time it was going to be permanent. it was 3 years later from when i had moved from florida and summer was just approaching. i was going to be a senior the upcoming school year, but my dad had to move back to florida. right before my last summer with my friends. we were moving back into the same house as before, but i was not going to be recognized. i died my hair dark brown and had convinced my mom to buy me unnatural but beautiful icy blue contacts. i was also going by my middle name, april. 
i had sort of built up a wall guarding my emotions ever since james died. when my mom asked me.... i told her it was a self discovery ambition... so she went along with it. 
"kylie-" my mom called as she stepped into the van.
"april!" i corrected her.
"sorry... april.... ready to go?" 
"ya... on my way..."
i grabbed my bags and raybans and put them over my eyes. i walked backward to the van and slipped in to the hot back seat. the leather seat was sticky and i was completely misrable. i was kind of excited to see meg. there was no way that i could pull off my "self discovery" personality and look away from her and she not realize who i was. and we were neighbors too... so there was no way. but i hadnt told her that was coming either. acutally i had deleted all my dustin, florida friends from contacts and removed them from my friends on facebook.
i slouched in my seat as my dad cranked up the van and sent cool air blasting on my fore head. i pulled out my summer reading book for dustin high and prepared myself for an 8 hour ride into my pain ful past. 

soooo you like? i want to thank all my readers of change in heart! this is the sequel, but it is not necessary to read change in heart if you dont want to! lol :) im making it so anyone can read it if they want to. fave if your ready for the 1st chapter... wont write it till i have atleast 6 faves :) yay for new plot :D
