7 reasons why...
chapter 1
part 2

The moving truck was huge and yellow. Until that moment I would have told you that yellow was a happy color... but right now it was not.
My dad and grandpa loaded boxes in the car as I sat on our porch steps sipping on a glass of iced lemonade.
I bet I looked picture perfect. Short faded jeans, a bright pink tank, my yellow Raybans, bright blue vans, and my hair in loose braids. A perfect example of a happy teenage summer, but the only thing was that, that wasn't me at all.
My best friend walked up to me from her house which was just across the street.
I stood up as she approached. She handed me a small light blue box.
"It's just a little something." she said shrugging her shoulders and digging her hands deeper into her white skinny jeans.
"Im going to miss you so much." I said taking her in for a hug.
My mom called for me to get in the truck so I let go and we walked to the truck.
"Promise me you'll text me everyday?" she said concerned, almost as if she thought that I would forget about her.
"I will I promise." I said as giddily as I could at a time like this. I climbed to the seats of the truck and looked down at her.
she smiled with care. I knew that she was going to miss me as much as I was going to miss her.
"Hey... will you do me a favor?" I said sitting down on the edge of the seat of the truck.
"Anything."
"Tell him I loved him. Tell him I always have... no matter what I said... I always did."
I sighed. Ive always wanted to tell him that, but  i never had the courage too.
so this is how it ends... and begins.
"I will." she said with a nod.
I closed the truck door and pressed my hands against the window in the shape of a heart.

and she did the same as I drove away.
