its been almost 6 years now, 
 

i feel like it was just yesterday when

i was woken in the middle of the night
 
to my mom saying she was going to the hospital

i didnt think much of it 

and went right back to sleep

i wish i had gone with her to the hospital 

because the next morning

i went downstairs to her crying

she said "daddy died last night"
